SYNOPSIS
The Last Good Guy is a dark, contemporary thriller set in Glasgow and the Highlands, basically Local Hero goes to Hell. A lonely, self-destructive policeman haunted by his failure to save a suicidal young girl, embarks on a private investigation into the events that led to the girl taking her own life. As much an attempt to assuage his own guilt and find some measure of redemption as it is a search for the truth of the girl’s life, his quest will take him from the mean streets of Glasgow’s seedy underworld to an isolated, idyllic, island community and straight into the heart of a darkness that threatens his sanity and his life when his obsession with the enigmatic girl who brought him to the island eventually brings destruction to the community that has welcomed him.
Some secrets should remain undiscovered….
