  SYNOPSIS

Sparks centres around John Sparks, a man who naturally is drawn into intrigues by chance in a similar manner to characters such as the Saint.

In essence he is a man living under the shadow of his past, moving from town to town, assuming new identities as he goes.  Perhaps a writer, a journalist, a photographer or even a priest.  In fact though such chameleon abilities were part and parcel of his past life as a professional bounty killer.  Now the hunter has become the hunted as he drifts constantly searched for by associates and families of past underworld characters he has brought to justice.

This scenario gives great scope for location and story development, unlike police series he's not tied to one area or just local population, he can go from the upper echelons of high society in one episode to a out the way backwater hotel in another or yet again a deserted beautiful location.  His past gives him the power to right wrong doing and prove himself the white knight, the unintentional hero in a wide variety of situations, but because of his past he can never take the spotlight to receive thanks but must always sink back into the shadows - a truly Christian hero - though not a course of his own choosing.
